Looking very nice, and I see you’ve made some colour edits too. Always a treat. But the elevation is a tad bit rubbish. There’s two tiles of cliff on the left side of the first waterfall, which completely disappears after the break. You could say the right side is all on a slope, but that kind of effect doesn’t work in RPGMaker.
Also, on the second waterfall there’s no change in elevation. As the cliff is the same height, both before and after; it's especially weird since part of the land is raised. Add another tile of cliff after the second waterfall and you’ve got it.

Hello there chap. To answer your question: absolutely everyone! Look at everyone from the point of view of them being a witch, and not an innocent. It’s still early days, so it’s tough.
If the mafia are playing in smart, then they’ll be throwing people in the frame. So I guess the least suspicious, are kinda the most suspicious!

The second death was either caused by a vigilante(town) or a serial killer(neutral). Considering the fact that there are 3 witches it is highly likely that the neutral role isn't a killing role because that would make the game very unbalanced.
I agree. I’ve been/was playing on MafiaScum a fair bit after the craze on this site finished. Though the games on the forum aren’t instant claims and counter claims, I’ve learned how to play properly at least.
Now that the cop is dead, I really hope, but some chance we have the Paranoid Gunner (kills ANYONE who visits them), and not a trigger happy “I have a slight hunch” vigilante on our side. It just seems unlucky to lose our best chance on night one, and I don’t want to believe the vigilante would go for a shot first night.
I’m not saying there is one of course, but Doctor, just be aware that possibility exists, I guess.
Also sorry for the lack of posts. After I finished work, it was already night one and I’ve been at work all day today too. I’ll be posting more hopefully!

The position of the characters does slightly irk me. I would have expected the blond haired guy and the green haired girl (I hope that's a girl, god damn jrpgs) to be in each others positions, but that's more of a preference thing I guess. It's pretty obvious who's who. Otherwise this screen is fucking hawt.

I always knew character development was going to be trouble, I’ve got some cool scenes planned between Gordon and Erika, as they obviously end up travelling together. I’ll look into some scenes and try to get some more standout personality in them. I had a scene planned in the first chapter where Gordon tries to get through Kraylin Wood at night, and ends up having a massive panic attack, and fighting enemies that aren’t even there, but I decided not to. I want to show he’s incapable of dealing with death and losing people, but I see it’s not working yet. =(
The speed of the skill messages isn’t anything I can change I‘m afraid, But I’ll rename them to “Attack Boost” etc, instead of “cryptic misleading skill name”. I’m not overly amazing at RPGs (even though I love them), so I sort of catered the battles to my amateur tastes. I deliberately made poison almost worthless, as I hate that prolonging status effect, especially in 2k3. I’ll give them some more testing, and make them hit a bit harder.
That scrolling message banner, was a experiment, it seemed good on paper. I agree with you it can be quite awkward, especially when your trying to read a treasure chest. I don’t know what I’ll do with that yet.

That’s a weird one. I didn’t delete anything apart from some sound effects and music, so nothing should be missing. No one else has mentioned this yet, maybe it was a once time error? Oh well, using my incredible intellect, I have deduced that it is indeed this file that is missing. Whack that in your CharSet folder and continue playing if you fancy.

Played the entire first chapter -- which was around an hour in length. It's definitely an interesting little WIP with some quirky gameplay ideas. I might get around to doing a quick review for this game when I have some free time.
Also, there's a few editing issues to be fixed in Gordon's dream near the end of chapter.
